195 لقد كنت على عهد رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم غلامًا، فكنت أحفظ عنه، فما يمنعني من القول إلا أن هاهنا رجالا هم أسن مني
I was a boy during the time of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) and I used to memorize some of what he said. Nothing prevented me from narrating (what I learned) except that there were men here who were older than me

عن سمرة بن جندب رضي الله عنه قال: لقد كنت على عَهْدِ رسولِ الله صلى الله عليه وسلم غُلاما، فكنت أحفظ عنه، فما يمنعني من القول إلا أن هاهنا رِجَالًا هم أَسَنُّ مِنِّي.

Samurah ibn Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: I was a boy during the time of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) and I used to memorize some of what he said. Nothing prevented me from narrating (what I learned) except that there were men here who were older than me.

صحيح - ( رواه مسلم ). Sahih/Authentic. [Muslim]

يخبر سمرة بن جندب رضي الله عنه أنه كان صغير السن في زمن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ، وكان يحفظ بعض أقواله صلى الله عليه وسلم ، وما كان يمنعه من التحديث بها إلا أن هناك من هو أكبر منه سنا.
Samurah ibn Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) says that he was a young boy when the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) was alive, and he used to memorize some of the Prophet's statements. However, he would not narrate what he had heard out of respect for the senior Companions who were present.

جواز حضور الصبيان مجالس الكبار ومجالس العلم. الغلام يَتَحَمَّل العلم في صِغَره. معرفة صحابة رسول الله -صلى الله عليه وسلم- لشرف كبارهم؛ فهم يعلمون أنهم على خير ما دام العلم يأتيهم عن أكابرهم. الأدب مع الكبار من أهل العلم.
