{1} بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ وَٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلطَّارِقِ
By the sky and the night comer -
|| Details ||
|
{2} وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلطَّارِقُ
And what can make you know what is the night comer?
|| Details ||
|
{3} ٱلنَّجْمُ ٱلثَّاقِبُ
It is the piercing star -
|| Details ||
|
{4} إِن كُلُّ نَفْسٍۢ لَّمَّا عَلَيْهَا حَافِظٌۭ
There is no soul but that it has over it a protector.
|| Details ||
|
{5} فَلْيَنظُرِ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ مِمَّ خُلِقَ
So let man observe from what he was created.
|| Details ||
|
{6} خُلِقَ مِن مَّآءٍۢ دَافِقٍۢ
He was created from a fluid, ejected,
|| Details ||
|
{7} يَخْرُجُ مِنۢ بَيْنِ ٱلصُّلْبِ وَٱلتَّرَآئِبِ
Emerging from between the backbone and the ribs.
|| Details ||
|
{8} إِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ رَجْعِهِۦ لَقَادِرٌۭ
Indeed, Allah, to return him [to life], is Able.
|| Details ||
|
{9} يَوْمَ تُبْلَى ٱلسَّرَآئِرُ
The Day when secrets will be put on trial,
|| Details ||
|
{10} فَمَا لَهُۥ مِن قُوَّةٍۢ وَلَا نَاصِرٍۢ
Then man will have no power or any helper.
|| Details ||
|
{11} وَٱلسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ ٱلرَّجْعِ
By the sky which returns [rain]
|| Details ||
|
{12} وَٱلْأَرْضِ ذَاتِ ٱلصَّدْعِ
And [by] the earth which cracks open,
|| Details ||
|
{13} إِنَّهُۥ لَقَوْلٌۭ فَصْلٌۭ
Indeed, the Qur'an is a decisive statement,
|| Details ||
|
{14} وَمَا هُوَ بِٱلْهَزْلِ
And it is not amusement.
|| Details ||
|
{15} إِنَّهُمْ يَكِيدُونَ كَيْدًۭا
Indeed, they are planning a plan,
|| Details ||
|
{16} وَأَكِيدُ كَيْدًۭا
But I am planning a plan.
|| Details ||
|
{17} فَمَهِّلِ ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ أَمْهِلْهُمْ رُوَيْدًۢا
So allow time for the disbelievers. Leave them awhile.
