64 لا تَلْبَسُوا الْحَرِيرَ؛ فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ لَبِسَهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا لَمْ يَلْبَسْهُ فِي الآخِرَةِ
Do not wear silk, for whoever wears it in this world will not wear it in the Hereafter.

عن عمر بن الخطاب رضي الله عنه قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -: «لا تَلْبَسُوا الحَرِير؛ فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ لَبِسَهُ في الدنيا لم يَلبَسه في الآخرة».

‘Umar ibn al-Khattāb (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not wear silk, for whoever wears it in this world will not wear it in the Hereafter."

صحيح - ( متفق عليه ). Sahih/Authentic. [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]

في هذا الحديث نهي عن لبس الحرير للرجال، وأن عقوبة لابسه أنه لا يلبسه في الآخرة؛ لأن الجزاء من جنس العمل.
This Hadīth contains prohibition of wearing silk for men, and that the punishment for the one who wears it is that he will not wear it in the Hereafter, because the recompense is according to the action.

يؤخذ من هذا الحديث تحريم لبس الحرير على الرجال. من لبس الحرير في الدنيا إن لم يعفُ الله عنه سيحرم من لبسه في الجنة ولو دخلها.
