530 لو كان لي مِثْلُ أحدٍ ذهبًا، لسرني أن لا تمر عليَّ ثلاث ليالٍ وعندي منه شيءٌ إلا شيء أرْصُدُهُ لِدَيْنٍ
If I had gold equal to the mountain of Uhud, it would please me that I should have nothing left of it with me after the passage of three nights, except what I might retain to repay a debt

عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: «لو كان لي مِثْلُ أحدٍ ذهبًا، لسرني أن لا تمر عليَّ ثلاث ليالٍ وعندي منه شيءٌ إلا شيء أرْصُدُهُ لِدَيْنٍ».

Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If I had gold equal to the mountain of Uhud, it would please me that I should have nothing left of it with me after the passage of three nights, except what I might retain to repay a debt."

لو كنت أملك من المال مقدار جبل أحد من الذهب الخالص لأنفقته كله في سبيل الله، ولم أبق منه إلا الشيء الذي أحتاج إليه في قضاء الحقوق، وتسديد الديون التي عليّ.
If I had a wealth of pure gold that is equal to the mountain of Uhud, I would spend all of it in the cause of Allah and would not keep anything thereof, expect what I need for fulfilling rights and repaying my debts.

الحث على الإنفاق في وجوه الخير وفي حال حياة الإنسان وصحته. وجوب وفاء الدين وأنه مقدم على صدقة التطوع. جواز استعمال "لو" عند تمني الخير. زهد النبي -صلى الله عليه وسلم-، فقد كان ينفق إنفاق من لا يخشى الفقر.
