288 كنت رجلا مذَّاءً، فاستحييت أن أسأل رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم لمكان ابنته مني، فأمرت المقداد بن الأسود فسأله، فقال: يغسل ذكره، ويتوضأ
I used to experience frequent discharge of pre-ejaculatory fluid, and I was too shy to ask the Messenger (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) about it given the fact that his daughter was my wife. So I asked Al-Miqdād ibn al-Aswad to ask him about it. Thereupon, the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) replied: Let him wash his penis and perform ablution (after it)

عن علي بن أبي طالب رضي الله عنه قال: ((كُنتُ رَجُلاً مَذَّاءً، فَاسْتَحْيَيتُ أَن أَسأَل رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم لِمَكَان ابنَتِهِ مِنِّي، فَأَمرت المِقدَاد بن الأسود فَسَأَله، فقال: يَغْسِل ذَكَرَه، ويَتَوَضَّأ)). وللبخاري: ((اغسل ذَكَرَك وتوَضَّأ)). ولمسلم: ((تَوَضَّأ وانْضَح فَرْجَك)).

‘Ali ibn Abi Tālib (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: I used to experience frequent discharge of pre-ejaculatory fluid and I was too shy to ask the Messenger (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) about it given the fact that his daughter was my wife. So I asked Al-Miqdād ibn al-Aswad to ask him about it. Thereupon, the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "Let him wash his penis and perform ablution (after it)." According to Al-Bukhāri's narration of the Hadīth: "Wash your penis and perform ablution." According to Muslim: "Perform ablution and sprinkle water over your penis."

يقول علي رضي الله عنه : كنت رجلًا كثير المذْيِ، وكنت أغتسل منه حتى شق عليَّ الغُسل؛ لأني ظننت حكمه حكم المني، فأردت أن أتأكد من حكمه، وأردت أن أسأل النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ، ولكن لكون هذه المسألة تتعلق بالفروج، وابنته تحتي، استحييت من سؤاله، فأمرتُ المقداد رضي الله عنه أن يسأله، فسأله فقال: إذا خرج منه المذي فليغسل ذَكَرَهُ حتى يتقلص الخارج الناشئ من الحرارة، ويتوضأ لكونه خارجًا من أحد السبيلين، والخارج من أحدهما من نواقض الوضوء، فيكون صلى الله عليه وسلم قد أرشد السائل بهذا الجواب إلى أمر شرعي وأمر طبي.
‘Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: I used to frequently experience discharge of pre-ejaculatory fluid, and I would take a ritual bath because of this until it became so hard for me. I thought that the ruling was the same as that of the seminal fluid. I wanted to make sure of the ruling regarding this. So I wanted to ask the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) but since this issue is related to the private parts and his daughter was my wife, I felt shy to ask him about it. So I asked Al-Miqdād ibn al-Aswad to ask him about it. Al-Miqdād asked him, and he replied: "If he discharges pre-ejaculatory fluid, then he should wash his penis by sprinkling water over it so that the fluid which emanates out of the heat would cease to flow. Then he should perform ablution because this fluid has come out of one of the two body outlets, and whatever comes out of them invalidates one's ablution." So the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) guided the questioner to a religious ruling and a medical procedure.

فضيلة علي بن أبي طالب -رضي الله عنه-؛ حيث لم يمنعه الحياء من ترك السؤال بواسطة. جواز الاستنابة في الاستفتاء. يستحسن للزوج ألا يذكر ما يتعلق بالاستمتاع بالمرأة بحضرة الأصهار. جواز إخبار الإنسان عن نفسه بما يستحي منه للمصلحة. نجاسة المَذيِ، ووجوب غسله. أن خروج المذي من نواقض الوضوء، لأنه خارج من أحد السبيلين. وجوب غسل الذكر، وقد ورد في بعض الأحاديث: "وغسل الأنثيين". أنه لا يوجب غسل البدن من خروج المذي. أنه لا يكفي في إزالة المذي الاستجمار بالحجارة كالبول، بل لابد من الماء.
