1819 إذا أراد الله قبض عبد بأرض جعل له بها حاجة
When Allah intends to take a slave in a (particular) land, He gives him a reason to go there

عن أبي عزة الهذلي رضي الله عنه قال قال رسول الله صلى الله وسلم: «إذا أراد اللهُ قَبْضَ عبد بأرض جعلَ له بها حاجة».

Abu ‘Azzah al-Hudhali (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When Allah intends to take a slave in a (particular) land, He gives him a reason to go there."

صحيح - ( رواه الترمذي وأحمد وأبو داود الطيالسي ). Sahih/Authentic. [At-Tirmidhi]

إذا أراد الله تعالى لعبد من عباده أن يموت بأرض محددة، وليس هو فيها؛ جعل له إلى هذه الأرض حاجة، فإذا ذهب إلى حاجته في هذه الأرض توفاه الله تعالى، وما قدره الله عز وجل وكتبه لا بد أن يقع كما قدره، وهذا من الإيمان بالقضاء والقدر.
When Allah, the Exalted, intends for one of His slaves to die in a particular land other than the one he is in, He gives him a reason to go there. So when he goes to fulfill his need in that land, Allah, the Exalted, takes his soul. Anything Allah, Glorified and Exalted, decreed and wrote must happen exactly as He decreed it. This is a part of believing in the Divine Decree and Preordainment.

إثبات إرادة الله -تعالى- على الوجه اللائق به -سبحانه-. في هذا الحديث تنبيه للعبد على التيقظ للموت، والاستعداد له بالطاعة، والخروج من المظالم، وقضاء الدين والوصية بما له وعليه في الحضر، فضلا عن الخروج إلى سفره؛ فإنه لا يدري أين سيكون موته من الأماكن.
