766 ما زَالَ جِبْرِيلُ يُوصِينِي بالجَارِ حَتَّى ظَنَنتُ أَنَه سَيُورثه
Jibrīl kept enjoining the good treatment of the neighbor to the extent that I thought he would include the neighbor as an heir

عن عائشة رضي الله عنها ، وعبد الله بن عمر رضي الله عنهما قالا: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : «ما زال جبريل يوصيني بالجار، حتى ظننت أنه سيورِّثه».

‘Ā'ishah and ‘Abdullāh ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with both of them) reported: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Jibrīl kept enjoining the good treatment of the neighbor to the extent that I thought he would include the neighbor as an heir."

صحيح - ( متفق عليه من حديث ابن عمر -رضي الله عنهما-، ورواه مسلم من حديث عائشة -رضي الله عنها ). Sahih/Authentic. [Muslim]

ما زال جبريل يوصيني بالاعتناء بالجار، حتى ظننت أنه سينزل الوحي الذي يأتي به جبريل بتوريث الجار.

عظم حق الجوار ووجوب مراعاة ذلك. التأكيد على حقه بالوصية يقتضي ضرورة إكرامه والتودد والإحسان إليه، ودفع الضر عنه، وعيادته عند المرض، وتهنئته عند المسرة، وتعزيته عند المصيبة.
