539 ما اغْبَرَّتْ قَدَمَا عَبْدٍ في سَبِيل الله فَتَمَسَّهُ النَّار
Anyone whose feet get covered with dust in the cause of Allah will not be touched by Hellfire

عن أبي عَبْس عبد الرحمن بن جبر رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : «ما اغْبَرَّتْ قَدَمَا عَبْدٍ في سَبِيل الله فَتَمَسَّهُ النَّار».

Abu ‘Abs ‘Abdur-Rahmān ibn Jabr (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Anyone whose feet get covered with dust in the cause of Allah will not be touched by Hellfire."

صحيح - ( رواه البخاري ). Sahih/Authentic. [Al-Bukhari]

معنى الحديث: أن الذي يخرج في طريق ليقاتل في سبيل الله تعالى فاغْبَرَّت قَدَمَاه في طريقه كان ذلك سببا في وقَايته من النار، وفي لفظ للبخاري:"مَنِ اغْبَرَّتْ قَدَمَاه في سبيل الله حَرَّمَهُ الله على النَّار".
The Hadīth means that whoever sets out to fight in the cause of Allah, the Almighty, and his feet get covered with dust on the way, this will cause him to be saved from Hell-fire. The wording of Al-Bukhāri narration reads: "Anyone whose feet get covered with dust in the cause of Allah, Allah shall forbid him Hellfire."

البشارة للمجاهد بالنَّجَاة من النار. من عَلَقَ الغُبار في قدميه لم تَمَسه النار. فضيلة المشي على الأقدام في الطاعات وأنها من الأعمال الرابحة التي يستوجب العبد بها رفيع الدرجات.
