1816 اللهم اجعله هاديًا مهديًّا واهد به
O Allah, make him a guide who is rightly guided, and guide others through him

عن عبد الرحمن بن أبي عميرة وكان من أصحاب رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أنه قال لمعاوية: «اللهم اجعله هاديًا مَهْديًّا واهدِ به».

‘Abdur-Rahmān ibn Abi ‘Umayrah, a Companion of the Messenger of Allah reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said to Mu‘āwiyah: "O Allah, make him a guide who is rightly guided, and guide others through him."

صحيح - ( رواه الترمذي وأحمد ). Sahih/Authentic. [At-Tirmidhi]

دعا النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم لمعاوية بن أبي سفيان بأن يجعله الله تعالى دالًّا على الخير، وأن يجعله مهتديًا في نفسه، وأن يهد به الناس.
The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) supplicated in favor of Mu‘āwiyah ibn Abi Sufyān that Allah would make him a guide to good, make him a guided person, and guide people through him.

فضيلة لمعاوية بن أبي سفيان -رضي الله عنهما- أن دعاء الأنبياء مستجاب وقد حصلت الإجابة, فجعله الله دالا للناس على الخير في وقت خلافته.
