8 كل ميت يختم على عمله إلا المرابط في سبيل الله، فإنه يَنْمي له عمله إلى يوم القيامة، ويؤمن فتنة القبر
The actions of every dead person come to a halt except the one who is garrisoned on the frontier in the way of Allah. His deeds will keep growing till the Day of Judgment, and he will be secure from the trial in the grave.

عن فَضَالَةُ بنُ عُبَيْدٍ وسلمان الفارسي وعقبة بن عامر الجهني رضي الله عنهم مرفوعاً: «كُلُّ مَيِّتٍ يُخْتَمُ على عَمَلِهِ إلا الُمرَابِطَ في سبيل الله، فإنه يَنْمِي لَهُ عَمَلَهُ يوم القيامة، ويُؤَمَّنُ فتنة القبر».

Fadālah ibn ‘Ubayd, Salmān Al-Fārisi, and ‘Uqbah ibn ‘Āmir al-Juhani (may Allah be pleased with them) reported that the Prophet (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The actions of every dead person come to a halt except the one who is garrisoned on the frontier in the way of Allah. His deeds will keep growing till the Day of Judgment, and he will be secure from the trial in the grave."

كُلُّ مَيِّتٍ يَنْقَطِعُ عَمَلُهُ بالموتِ فلا يُكْتَبُ لَهُ أجرٌ جديدٌ، إلا المرابِطَ في سبيل الله الذي يَحرِسُ حُدُودَ المسلمين،فإنَّ الله يُكْرِمُهُ ببقاءِ أجْرِ عَمَلِهِ،ويَأْمَنُ فِتنَةَ القَبْرِ فلا يسأله الملكان.
The deeds of any person will end by his death, and no more rewards will be put in his record, except for the one who is garrisoned in the cause of Allah, guarding the Muslim borders. Honoring such a person, Allah the Almighty makes the reward of his deeds ongoing and keeps him safe from the trial in the grave; thus, he will not be questioned by the two angels.

فَضْلُ الرِّبَاطِ والحِرَاسَةِ في سَبيل الله -تعالى-. مَنْ مَاتَ مُرَابِطَاً في سبيل الله فإنَّ عَمَلَهُ لا يَتَوَقَّفُ إلى يوم القيامة. الرِّبَاطُ والجِهادُ في سبيل الله أَفْضَلُ مِنَ الصِّيَامِ والقِيَامِ، لأنَّ مَنْفَعَتَهُ تعود على جميع المسلمين.
