833 من دلَّ على خير، فله مثل أجر فاعله
Whoever guides to a good deed gets the same reward as the doer of that deed

عن أبي مسعود البدري رضي الله عنه عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: «من دلَّ على خير، فله مثلُ أجرِ فاعلِه».

Abu Mas‘ūd al-Badri (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever guides to a good deed gets the same reward as the doer of that deed.''

صحيح - ( رواه مسلم ). Sahih/Authentic. [Muslim]

هذا حديث عظيم، يدل على أن من أرشد غيره إلى خير كان له من الأجر مثل ما للفاعل، وهذا يشمل الدلالة بالقول كالتعليم، والدلالة بالفعل وهو القدوة الحسنة.
This is indeed a great Hadīth. It indicates that the person who guides others to do good will get the same reward of the person who does that good. This includes verbal guidance, such as teaching others, and guidance by example; i.e. by being a good example for others to follow.

الحث على الدلالة على الخير. الوسائل لها أحكام المقاصد.
A Muslim is urged to guide others to goodness. Means are subject to the same rulings applying to objectives.
