716 مَن نَفَّسَ عن مؤمنٍ كُرْبَةً من كُرَبِ الدُّنيا نَفَّسَ اللهُ عنه كُرْبَةً من كُرَبِ يومِ القِيَامَة، ومن يَسَّرَ على مُعْسِرٍ يَسَّرَ اللهُ عليه في الدُّنيا والآخرةِ، ومن سَتَرَ مُسْلِمًا سَتَرَهُ اللهُ في الدُّنيا والآخرةِ
Anyone who relieves a hardship for a believer in this world, Allah will relieve one of his hardships on the Day of Resurrection. Anyone who makes things easy for a hard-pressed person, Allah will make things easy for him in this world and in the Hereafter. Anyone who covers up the faults and sins of a Muslim, Allah will cover up his faults and sins in this world and in the Hereafter.

عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه عن النبي -صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم- قال: «مَن نَفَّسَ عن مؤمنٍ كُرْبَةً من كُرَبِ الدُّنيا نَفَّسَ اللهُ عنه كُرْبَةً من كُرَبِ يومِ القِيَامَة، ومن يَسَّرَ على مُعْسِرٍ يَسَّرَ اللهُ عليه في الدُّنيا والآخرةِ، ومن سَتَرَ مُسْلِمًا سَتَرَهُ اللهُ في الدُّنيا والآخرةِ، واللهُ في عَوْنِ العَبْدِ ما كَانَ العبدُ في عَوْنِ أَخِيهِ، ومن سَلَكَ طَرِيقًا يَلتَمِسُ فِيهِ عِلمًا سَهَّلَ اللهُ له به طريقًا إلى الجنةِ، وما اجْتَمَعَ قَوْمٌ في بيتٍ من بيوتِ اللهِ يَتْلُونَ كتابَ اللهِ ويَتَدَارَسُونَهُ بينهم إلا نَزَلَتْ عليهم السَّكِينَةُ وغَشِيَتْهُمُ الرَّحْمَةُ وحَفَّتْهُمُ الملائِكَةُ، وذَكَرَهُمُ اللهُ فِيمَنْ عِندَهُ، ومَن بَطَّأ به عمله لم يُسرع به نَسَبُهُ».

Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Anyone who relieves a hardship for a believer in this world, Allah will relieve one of his hardships on the Day of Resurrection. Anyone who makes things easy for a hard-pressed person, Allah will make things easy for him in this world and in the Hereafter. Anyone who covers up the faults and sins of a Muslim, Allah will cover up his faults and sins in this world and in the Hereafter. Allah supports His slave as long as the slave supports his brother. Anyone who travels a path in search of knowledge, Allah will make an easy path for him to Paradise. There are no people who gather in one of the houses of Allah, reciting the Book of Allah, learning it and teaching it, except tranquility descends upon them, mercy covers them, the angels flock and hover around them, and Allah mentions them in the presence of those near Him (in the heavens). And anyone who lags behind in doing good deeds, his noble lineage will not advance him any faster."

يفيدنا هذا الحديث الشريف: أن من فرج كربة عن مسلم، أو سهل أمرا متعسرا عليه، أو ستر عليه هفوة أو زلة فإن الله يجازيه من جنس أعماله التي نفع بها، وأن الله تعالى يعين العبد بتوفيقه في دنياه وآخرته حينما يساعد أخاه المسلم على أموره الشاقة عليه، وأن من سلك طريقا حسيا كالمشي إلى مجالس الذكر أو مجالس العلماء المحققين العاملين بعلمهم يريد التعلم، أو سلك الطريق المعنوي المؤدي إلى حصول هذا العلم كمذاكراته ومطالعته وتفكيره وتفهمه لما يُلقى عليه من العلوم النافعة وغير ذلك، فمن سلك هذا الطريق بنية صالحة صادقة وفقه الله للعلم النافع المؤدي إلى الجنة، وأن المجتمعين في بيت من بيوت الله لتلاوة القرآن العزيز ومدارسته يعطيهم الله من الطمأنينة وشمول الرحمة وحضور الملائكة والثناء عليهم من الله في الملأ الأعلى، وأن الشرف كل الشرف بالأعمال الصالحة لا بالأنساب والأحساب.
There are many benefits that can be derived from this Hadīth, including the following: If anyone dispels the distress of a Muslim, facilitates a matter that is difficult for him, or conceals a fault or slip that he committed, Allah will give him a reward of the same nature as the good deed he had done. Allah, the Almighty, also assists His servant through His help and grants success in this world and the next when the servant assists his Muslim brother in matters that are difficult for him. And if anyone travels on a literal path seeking knowledge, such as walking to gatherings for Dhikr or to meet reliable scholars with the intention of learning from them, or travels a figurative path to acquire knowledge, such as studying, reading, thinking, pondering and understanding the beneficial knowledge he acquired, and he did so with a good sincere intention, Allah will grant him beneficial knowledge that will lead to Paradise. And those who gather in a mosque to recite the Qur’an, study it and contemplate on it, Allah will grant them tranquility and mercy, the angels will attend their gathering, and Allah will praise them in the heavens. Finally, the Hadīth teaches us that nobility and virtue is in doing righteous deeds, not in one's noble or virtuous lineage.

فضل قضاء حاجات المسلمين ونفعهم بما تيسر من علم أو جاه أو مال أو إشارة أو نصح أو دلالة على خير أو إعانة بنفسه أو بوساطته أو الدعاء بظهر الغيب . الترغيب في التيسير على المعسر. الحث على عون العبد المسلم وأن الله -تعالى- يعين المعين حسب إعانته لأخيه. الحث على طلب العلم. الحث على الاجتماع على كتاب الله -عزّ وجل- وقراءته ومذاكرته. أن الجزاء إنما رتبه الله على الأعمال لا على الأنساب. أن شرف النسب مع صلاح العمل قد يوجب اختصاصًا في بعض أحكام الشرع لا في زيادة الثواب، كالإمامة العظمى، فالأولى بها قريش، ومثل ما خصَّ به بنو هاشم من الأحكام كتحريم الصدقة عليهم.
