1826 إن أحدكم إذا مات عرض عليه مقعده بالغداة والعشي، إن كان من أهل الجنة فمن أهل الجنة، وإن كان من أهل النار فمن أهل النار
When one of you dies, his seat (in the Hereafter) is shown to him in the morning and evening. If he is one of the people of Paradise, (he is shown his seat) in Paradise, and if he is one of the people of Hellfire, (he is shown his seat) in Hellfire

عن عبد الله بن عمر رضي الله عنهما : أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: «إنَّ أحدَكم إذا مات عُرِض عليه مقعدُه بالغَدَاة والعَشِي، إن كان من أهل الجنة فمِن أهل الجنة، وإن كان من أهل النار فمِن أهل النار، فيُقال: هذا مقعدُك حتى يبعثك الله يوم القيامة».

‘Abdullāh ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When one of you dies, his seat (in the Hereafter) is shown to him in the morning and evening. If he is one of the people of Paradise, (he is shown his seat) in Paradise, and if he is one of the people of Hellfire, (he is shown his seat) in Hellfire. It will be said: 'This is your seat until Allah resurrects you on the Day of Judgment.'"

صحيح - ( متفق عليه ). Sahih/Authentic. [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]

إذا مات الإنسان عُرض عليه مكانه ومقعده من الجنة أو النار كل صباح ومساء، فإن كان الميت من أهل الجنة فمقعده من مقاعد أهل الجنة يُعرض عليه، وإن كان الميت من أهل النار فمقعده من مقاعد أهل النار يُعرض عليه، وفي هذا العرض تبشير للمؤمن وتخويف للكافر حيث يقال له: هذا مقعدك لا تصل إليه حتى يبعثك الله.
When someone dies, he will be shown his place and seat either in Paradise or Hellfire every morning and evening. If the deceased is from the people of Paradise, he will be shown his seat among the people of Paradise. But if he is from the people of Hellfire, he will be shown his seat among the people of Hellfire. This showing of seats carries glad tidings to the believer and a fearful portent to the disbeliever. It will be said to the deceased: This is your seat (in the Hereafter), which you will not reach until Allah resurrects you.

أن الجنة والنار مخلوقتان. أن عذاب القبر ونعيمه حق.
