814 اللهم جنِّبْني منكرات الأخلاق، والأعمال، والأهواء، والأدواء
O Allah, Keep me away from reprehensible morals, deeds, inclinations, and illnesses

عن قطبة بن مالك رضي الله عنه مرفوعاً: «اللهم جنِّبْني مُنْكَراتِ الأخلاق، والأعمال، والأهواء، والأَدْوَاء».

Qutbah ibn Mālik (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Allah, Keep me away from reprehensible morals, deeds, inclinations, and illnesses."

صحيح - ( رواه الترمذي ). Sahih/Authentic. [At-Tirmidhi]

الحديث فيه دعوات كريمات يقولها المصطفى صلى الله عليه وسلم ، وهي أن الله تعالى يباعد بينه وبين أربعة أمور: الأول: الأخلاق الذميمة المستقبحة. الثاني: المعاصي. الثالث: الشهوات المهلكات التي تهواها النفوس. الرابع: الأمراض المزمنة المستعصية.
The Hadīth contains noble supplications said by the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him). He asked Allah, the Almighty, to distance him from four things: 1. Blameworthy and repulsive morals 2. Acts of disobedience 3. Destructive desires that the soul yearns for 4. Incurable chronic illnesses

فضل هذا الدعاء واستحبابه. المؤمن يحرص على اجتناب الأخلاق الذميمة والأعمال المنكرة، ويحذر من اتباع الهوى والوقوع في الشهوات. انقسام الأخلاق والأعمال والأهواء إلى منكر ومعروف. جواز سؤال المرء ألا يصيبه الله بمرض منكر.
