750 هو في النَّارِ، فذهبوا ينظرونَ إليهِ، فَوَجَدُوا عَبَاءَةً قَدْ غَلَّهَا.
"He is in Hellfire." The people then went to look at him and found in his place a cloak which he had stolen from the war booty

عن عبد الله بن عمرو رضي الله عنهما قال: كان على ثَقَلِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم رَجُلٌ يُقالُ له كِرْكِرَةٌ، فماتَ، فقال رسولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم : «هو في النَّارِ». فذهبوا ينظرونَ إليهِ، فَوَجَدُوا عَبَاءَةً قَدْ غَلَّهَا

‘Abdullāh ibn ‘Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: There was a man who looked after the family and the belongings of the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him); he was called Karkara. The man died and the Prophet said: "He is in Hellfire." The people then went to look at him and found in his place a cloak which he had stolen from the war booty.

كان المسؤول عن أمتعة النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم رجل اسمه كركرة فمات؛ فأخبر رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أنه في النار يعذب على معصيته، أو أنه في النار إن لم يعف الله عنه، فذهب الصحابة يبحثون عن السبب في ذلك؛ فوجدوا عباءة قد سرقها من الغنيمة.
Karkara, a man who was in charge of the Prophet's belongings, died, and the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) informed that he would be in Hellfire being punished for his sin, or that would be the case if Allah did not forgive him. So, the Companions went to find out the reason, and behold! They found in his place a cloack which he had stolen from the war booty.

الخيانة في الأموال العامة من الكبائر التي يعاقب مرتكبها في النار. تحريم قليل الغلول وكثيره.
