423 سُئِل رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : أي الصلاة أفضل؟ قال: طُول القُنُوتِ
The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) was asked: Which part of the prayer is the best? He replied: The long standing

وعن جابر رضي الله عنه قال: سُئِل رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أي الصلاة أفضل؟ قال: «طُول القُنُوتِ».

Jābir (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) was asked: "Which part of the prayer is the best?" He replied: "The long standing."

صحيح - ( رواه مسلم ). Sahih/Authentic. [Muslim]

سأل الصحابة رضوان الله عليهم النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: أي الصلاة أفضل؟ وهذا السؤال من حرصهم على إصابة أكثر قدر من الحسنات، والمراد به: أي أنواع الصلوات أفضل؟ أو: أي أعمال الصلاة أفضل؟ القيام أم الركوع أم السجود؟ فأخبر صلى الله عليه وسلم أنه طول القيام فيها.
The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) was asked what actions in the prayer were the best. They asked this for their eagerness to achieve the most amount of rewards. They meant which part of prayer e.g, bowing or prostration is the best? He answered that it was the long standing in the prayer.

أن تطويل القيام في الصلاة أفضل من تطويل الركوع والسجود، على قول، وقيل طول السجود؛ لأن أقرب ما يكون العبد من ربه في حال السجود.
