395 يا معاذ، والله، إني لأحبك، ثم أوصيك يا معاذ، لا تدعن في دبر كل صلاة تقول: اللهم أعني على ذكرك، وشكرك، وحسن عبادتك
O Mu‘ādh, by Allah! I love you. I advise you, O Mu‘ādh, never fail to say after every prayer: O Allah, help me remember You, thank You, and worship You in an excellent manner

عن معاذ بن جبل رضي الله عنه أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: «يَا مُعَاذ، واللهِ، إِنِّي لَأُحِبُّكَ، ثُمَّ أُوصِيكَ يَا مُعَاذُ، لاَ تَدَعَنَّ فِي دُبُرِ كُلِّ صَلاَة تَقُول: اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلَى ذِكْرِكَ، وَشُكْرِكَ، وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ».

Mu‘ādh ibn Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Mu‘ādh, by Allah! I love you. I advise you, O Mu‘ādh, never fail to say after every prayer: 'O Allah, help me remember You, thank You, and worship You in an excellent manner."

يُصَوِّر حديث معاذ مَعلمًا جديدًا من معالم المحبة الإسلامية، والتي من ثمارها النصح والإرشاد إلى الخير، فإنَّ النبيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قال لمعاذ :"إني أحبك" وأقسم قال: "والله إني لأحبك" وهذه منقبة عظيمة لمعاذ بن جبل رضي الله عنه أنَّ نبينا صلى الله عليه وسلم أقسم أنَّه يحبه، والمحب لا يدَّخر لحبيبه إلا ما هو خير له؛ وإنما قال هذا له؛ لأجل أن يكون مستَعِدًا لما يلقى إليه؛ لأنه يلقيه إليه من محب. ثم قال له: "لا تدعن أن تقول دبر كل صلاة" أي: مكتوبة، "اللهم أعني على ذكرك وعلى شكرك وعلى حسن عبادتك": ودبر كل صلاة يعني: في آخر الصلاة قبل السلام، هكذا جاء في بعض الروايات، أنه يقولها قبل السلام وهو حق، وكما هو مقرَّر: أنَّ المقيد بالدبر أي: دبر الصلاة، إن كان دعاءً فهو قبل التسليم، وإن كان ذكرا فهو بعد التسليم، ويدل لهذه القاعدة أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال في حديث ابن مسعود في التشهد لما ذكره قال: ثم ليَتَخيَّر مِن الدعاء ما شاء أو ما أحب أو أعجبه إليه، أما الذكر فقال الله تعالى : {فإذا قضيتم الصلاة فاذكروا الله قياما وقعودا وعلى جنوبكم}. وقوله: " أعِنِّي على ذكرك" يعني: كل قول يقرب إلى الله، وكل شيء يقرب إلى الله، فهو من ذكر الله وشكره، أي: شكر النعم واندفاع النقم، فكم من نعمة لله على خلقه، وكم من نقمة اندفعت عنهم؛ فيشكر الله على ذلك.
The Hadīth of Mu‘ādh illustrates a new feature of Islamic love, whose fruits include sincere advice and guidance to all what is good. The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said to Mu‘ādh: "I love you" and he swore by saying: "By Allah! I love you", and this is a tremendous feat for Mu‘ādh ibn Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) swore that he loved him. A lover bears nothing for his beloved but what is good for him. He told him that so as to make him ready for receiving what he was about to say. "Never fail to say after every prayer," i.e. the obligatory prayers. "O Allah, help me remember You, thank You, and worship You in an excellent manner." After every prayer means at the end of the prayer before ending it with the final Taslīm. This corresponds with some narrations where it was reported that one should say these words before concluding the prayer with Taslīm, and that is correct. As it is already established, if a supplication is reported to be said after the prayer, then what is meant is that it should be said before Taslīm, but if it is a type of Dhikr, then it should be recited after Taslīm. This rule is proven by the Hadīth of Ibn Mas‘ūd, on Tashahhud where the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Then he may choose whatever he wishes or likes, or whatever pleases him of the supplications." However, when it comes to Dhikr, Allah, Exalted, says (what means): {When you have finished the prayer, remember Allah standing, sitting down, and lying down on your sides} [Sūrat An-Nisā': 103] "Help me remember You" i.e. guide me to every word that brings one closer to Allah. Everything that brings one closer to Allah is part of remembering Allah. "Thank you" i.e. thanking Him for the blessings and for warding off harm, because the blessings which Allah bestows upon His creation are so many, and the harm which He wards off is so much. So one thanks Allah for that.

جواز أخذ الرجل بيد أخيه. استحباب إخبار الشخص بحبه في الله. فضل معاذ بن جبل -رضي الله عنه-. استحباب التزام هذا الدعاء في دبر كل صلاة مفروضة. استحباب طلب العون والتوفيق من الله ليؤدي عبودية ربه على وجهها. ذكر الله يسوق المؤمن إلى شكره -سبحانه-، والشكر يسوقه إلى العبودية الصادقة. في الدعاء بهذه الألفاظ القليلة مطالب الدنيا والآخرة.
