293 إن الله تعالى يغار، وغيرة الله تعالى ، أن يأتي المرء ما حرم الله عليه
Verily, Allah, the Almighty, gets jealous. The jealousy of Allah, the Almighty, is when a person commits what Allah has made unlawful for him

عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه مرفوعًا: «إِنَّ الله -تَعَالى- يَغَارُ، وغَيرَةُ الله -تَعَالَى-، أَنْ يَأْتِيَ المَرء ما حرَّم الله عليه».

Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Verily, Allah, the Almighty, gets jealous. The jealousy of Allah, the Almighty, is when a person commits what Allah has made unlawful for him."

جاء الحديث ليبين أن الله يغار على محارمه، يبغض ويكره انتهاك حدوده، ومن ذلك فاحشة الزنا، فهو طريق سافل سيِّئ، ومِن ثَمَّ حرَّم الله على عباده الزنا وجميع وسائله، فإذا زنى العبد، فإنَّ الله يغار غيرة أشد وأعظم من غيرته على ما دونه من المحارم، وكذلك أيضا اللِّوَاط، وهو إتيان الذَكَر، فإِنَّ هذا أعظم وأعظم؛ ولهذا جعله الله تعالى أشدَّ في الفُحش من الزنا. وكذلك أيضا السرقة وشرب الخمر وكل المحارم يغار الله منها، لكن بعض المحارم تكون أشد غيرة من بعض، حسب الجُرم، وحسب المضَّار التي تترتَّب على ذلك.
This Hadīth shows that Allah gets jealous when it comes to His prohibitions. He hates the act of transgressing the limits set by Him, like in the case of committing adultery, which is a most contemptible sin. Allah has made adultery, and all the means that lead to it, unlawful for His slaves. If one commits adultery, the jealousy of Allah is stronger and graver than His jealousy when lesser prohibitions are violated. The jealousy of Allah becomes even graver when sodomy is practiced, and that is why Allah, the Almighty, has considered it more obscene than adultery. Likewise are theft and consuming alcohol and all other prohibitions, they lead to the jealousy of Allah when committed. However, the degree of jealousy varies according to the crime committed and the consequent harms.

التنفير من ارتكاب المحرمات؛ لأنها تُسَبِّب غضب الله -سبحانه وتعالى-. إثبات الغيرة لله -تعالى-، على الوجه اللائق -سبحانه وتعالى-. مراقبة الله -تعالى-، والخوف من غضبه وعقوبته إذا انتُهِكت محارمه.
