The Hour will not come until you fight the Jews

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى يَتَقَارَبَ الزَّمَانُ، فَتَكُونَ السَّنَةُ كَالشَّهْرِ، وَيَكُونَ الشَّهْرُ كَالْجُمُعَةِ، وَتَكُونَ الْجُمُعَةُ كَالْيَوْمِ، وَيَكُونَ الْيَوْمُ كَالسَّاعَةِ، وَتَكُونَ السَّاعَةُ كَاحْتِرَاقِ السَّعَفَةِ الْخُوصَةُ".

Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The hour will not come until time is constricted, and a year will be like a month, a month like a week, a week like a day, a day like an hour, and an hour will be like the burning of a palm leave."

أخبر النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أن من علامات الساعة أن تُنزع البركة من كل شيء، حتى من الزمان، أو أن يكون مرور الزمان سريعًا، هذان احتمالان ذكرهما العلماء لتقارب الزمان، والتشبيه المذكور في هذا الحديث يحتمل الأمرين، فتمر السَّنَة بشهورها الاثني عشر كما يمر الشهر، ويمر الشهر بأيامه الثلاثين أو تنقص يومًا كما يمر الأسبوع، وتمر الجمعة بأيامها السبعة مثل اليوم الواحد، وكذلك اليوم يكون كساعة واحدة، وتمر الساعة بسرعة شديدة كما تحرق السًّعفة وهي ورقة النخل.
The Prophet (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) informs in the Hadīth that one of the signs of the Hour is that blessing will be taken away from everything, even time, or time will pass quickly. These are two potential meanings mentioned by the scholars for constriction of time. The similitude given in the Hadīth can have either meaning. Thus, a year, with its twelve months, will probably pass like a one month; a month, with its 30 or 29 days, will pass like a week; a week, with its seven days, will pass like one day; likewise a day will pass like one hour; and an hour will pass so quickly like the burning of a palm leave.
