2119 إن الله يحب أن تؤتى رخصه كما يحب أن تؤتى عزائمه
Allah loves that His dispensations be taken as He loves that His obligations be observed

عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ أَنْ تُؤْتَى رُخَصُهُ، كَمَا يُحِبُّ أَنْ تُؤْتَى عَزَائِمُهُ».

Ibn ‘Abbās (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah loves that His dispensations be taken as He loves that His obligations be observed."

يخبر النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أنّ اللهَ يحبُّ مِن عباده أن يأخذوا بتخفيفه ورُخَصِه، والرُّخصة: هي التَّخفيفات في الأحكام والعبادات، والتَّسهيل فيها على المكلَّف لِعُذر، ومحبَّة اللهِ لها؛ لِما فيها مِن دفع التَّكبُّر والتَّرفُّع عن استِباحة ما أباحَه الشَّرع، ولِما فيها مِن التّوسِعة على العباد، وحبُّه عزَّ وجل لعباده أن يترخَّصوا مثلَ حبِّه لهم أن يفعلوا الواجبات عليهم؛ لأنّ أمر اللهِ في الرُّخص والعَزائم واحد، وهذا الحديث كقوله تعالى: {يريد الله بكم اليسر ولا يريد بكم العسر}، ومِن أمثلة الرخص: المسح على الخفين، والقصر في السَّفر، والفِطر عند المرض، وغير ذلك.
The Prophet (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) informs us in this Hadīth that Allah Almighty loves that His servants take the dispensations He gives to make the rulings and acts of worship easier for them, due to some excuse. Allah loves this because a person taking a dispensation does not disdain to consider permissible what the Shariah declares permissible. Moreover, the dispensations make things easy for people. Indeed, Allah's love for His servants taking these dispensations is like His love for their observance of the duties He ordained on them. His command is the same regarding the dispensations and the obligations. Similar to this Hadīth is the verse that says: {Allah wants ease for you and does not want hardship for you} [Surat al-Baqarah: 185]. Examples of dispensations include wiping over the leather socks, shortening prayers during travel, and not observing fast in illness.

التَّحذير من الأخذ بالتَّشديد في الأمور، فإنّ الدِّين يسر. التَّطييب لنفوس الضّعفاء الذين يأخذون بالترخص لعذرٍ لهم. رحمة الله تعالى بعباده، وأنّه سبحانه يحبّ إتيان ما شرعه مِن الرّخص. يُطلَب فعل الرّخص في مواضعها، والعزائم كذلك، ومَن أعرض عن ذلك يكون عاصيًا لله تعالى. إثبات الرخصة في الإسلام، وهي مبنية على العذر والتَّخفيف واليسر والسّهولة ورفع الحرج عن المكلّف. المحبة صفة مِن صفات الله تعالى التي تليق به سبحانه، ومثلها الكراهة.
It warns against making things difficult, as religion is easy. It comforts the souls of the weak people who take dispensations due to valid excuses. The Hadīth shows Allah's mercy to His servants and that He loves His prescribed dispensations to be taken.
