2076 من كان له سعة، ولم يضح، فلا يقربن مصلانا
Whoever can afford it but does not offer a sacrifice, let him not come near our prayer place

عن أبي هريرة، أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: «مَن كان له سَعَة، ولمْ يُضَحِّ، فلا يَقْرَبَنّ مُصَلّانا».

Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever can afford it but does not offer a sacrifice, let him not come near our prayer place."

يخبر أبو هريرة رضي الله عنه في هذا الحديث أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: أي مسلم كانت عنده قدرة على أن يضحي لكنه لم يفعل فلا يقرب مصلى العيد ولا يصلي مع الناس، لأنه لا ينبغي للمسلم أن يترك الأضحية وعنده قدرة على ذلك، فالأضحية عبادة عظيمة وشعيرة في يوم عيد الأضحى، والجمهور على أنها سنة مؤكدة، وقال بعض العلماء بوجوبها في حق القادر.
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said that any Muslim who is financially capable of offering a sacrificial animal on the Day of Eid al-Ad'ha, but does not do so, let him not approach the Eid prayer place of Muslims nor pray with the people, because the Muslim should not neglect this ritual while he is able to offer it. Offering the sacrificial animal is a great act of worship and a rite that should be observed on the day of Eid al-Ad'ha. The majority of scholars said that it is a confirmed act of Sunnah. Some scholars said that it is obligatory on those who are financially capable.

الحديث يدل على تأكيد الأضحية مع القدرة والسعة والجمهور على أنه سنة أن قوله: «فلا يقربن مصلانا» ليس المراد أن صحة الصلاة تتوقف على الأضحية، بل هو عقوبة له بالطرد عن مجالس الأخيار. أن من كان غير قادر على الأضحية فإنه لا تجب عليه. أن الأحوط للمسلم ألا يترك الأضحية مع قدرته عليها, لأن أداءها هو الذي يتعين به براءة ذمته.
