2042 جاهدوا المشركين بأموالكم وأنفسكم وألسنتكم
Perform Jihad against the polytheists with your riches, souls, and tongues

عن أنس رضي الله عنه أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: «جَاهِدُوا المشركين بأموالكم وأنفسكم وألسنتكم».

Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Perform Jihad against the polytheists with your riches, souls, and tongues."

صحيح - ( رواه أبوداود والدارمي والنسائي وأحمد ). Sahih/Authentic. [An-Nasaa’i]

أمر النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم المؤمنين بالجهاد الذي يكون تحت سلطة إمام، وتحت راية مؤمنة واحدة، ويكون لإعلاء كلمة الله لا لأغراض دنيوية، ويكون بالآتي: المال: وذلك بإنفاقه على شراء السلاح، وتجهيز الغزاة، ونحو ذلك. وأما النفس: فبمباشرة القتال للقادر عليه، والمؤهل له، وهو الأصل في الجهاد، كقوله تعالى :(وجاهدوا بأموالكم وأنفسكم). وأما اللسان: فبالدعوة إلى دين الله تعالى ونشره، والذود عن الإسلام، ومجادلة الملاحدة، والرد عليهم، وبث الدَّعوة بكل وسيلة من وسائل الإعلام، لإقامة الحجة على المعاندين، وبالأصوات عند اللقاء والزجر ونحوه من كل ما فيه نكاية للعدو (ولا ينالون من عدو نيلا إلا كتب لهم به عمل صالح)، وبالخطب التي تحث على الجهاد، وبالأشعارفقد قال صلى الله عليه وسلم «اهجوا قريشا فإنه أشد عليهم من رشق النبل» رواه مسلم.
The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) commanded the believers to perform Jihad under the authority of their leader and under a unified Muslim banner. This Jihad must be performed solely to make the Word of Allah superior, and not for worldly gains. Jihad is to be performed: 1. Financially: by spending money on buying weapons and training warriors, etc. 2. In person: by engaging directly in fighting for those who are capable and qualified to do so. This is the fundamental element of Jihad. In this respect, Allah, the Almighty, says: {And make Jihad with your wealth and your yourselves.} [Sūrat At-Tawbah: 41] 3. Verbally: by calling to, spreading, and defending the religion of Allah; by debating with and refuting the allegations of the atheists; and by preaching Islam using all possible means and media to prove the truth to those who are obstinate. Words may also be used in subduing the enemy: {Nor do they inflict upon an enemy any infliction but that is registered for them as a righteous deed} [Sūrat At-Tawbah: 120]. In this respect, the speeches and poetry that motivate the believers to perform Jihad can be used, for the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Lampoon (in poetry) the Quraysh, for this is harsher on them than the shooting of arrows." وجوب جهاد الكفار بالمال، والنفس، واللسان. أنَّ الجهاد يكون بالمال، فإعطاء الزكاة في الدَّعوة إلى الله -تعالى- من مصرف "في سبيل الله". الأمر بالجهاد للوجوب, وقد يكون واجبًا عينيًّا وقد يكون واجبًا كفائيًّا. قتال المشركين مشروع في الإسلام لأجل شركهم، وليس لأجل بلادهم وأموالهم، وإنما لإخلاء الأرض من الشرك ومنع ضررهم عن المسلمين. ذكر المشركين على وجه التمثيل؛ ولذلك يشمل الجهاد الكفار والمنافقين. الجهاد يكون بالنفس واللسان والمال على التخيير بحسب الأنفع والمصلحة.
