199 الساعي على الأرملة والمسكين، كالمجاهد في سبيل الله
The one who looks after the widow and the needy person is like the one who fights in the cause of Allah

عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه مرفوعًا: «السَّاعِي على الأَرْمَلَةِ والمِسْكِينِ، كالمُجَاهِدِ في سبيل الله». وأَحْسَبُهُ قال: «وكالقائم الذي لا يَفْتُرُ، وكالصائم الذي لا يُفْطِرُ».

Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The one who looks after the widow and the needy person is like the one who fights in the cause of Allah." Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) added: "I believe that he said: 'And like the one who constantly stands in (voluntary night) prayer and never slackens, and like the one who constantly fasts and never abandons fasting.'"

يخبر النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أن الذي يقوم بمصالح المرأة التي مات عنها زوجها، والمسكين المحتاج وينفق عليهم، هو في الأجر كالمجاهد في سبيل الله، وكالقائم في صلاة التهجد الذي لا يتعب من ملازمة العبادة، وكالصائم الذي لا يفطر.
The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) informs us that the one who tends to the needs of a woman whose husband has died as well as the needy, and provides for them will have the same reward as the one who fights in the cause of Allah, and the one who performs the voluntary night prayer and never gets tired of observing worship, and the one who always fasts and never gives up fasting.

وجه إِلْحَاق القائم على الأرملة والمسكين بما يصلحهما ويحفظهما بالمجاهد والمتهجد: أن المداومة على أعمال البر كهذه تَفتقِر إلى مجاهدة النفس والشيطان. الحث على كشف كرب الضعفاء وسد خُلَّتِهم وحاجاتهم وصون حُرمَتِهِم. حرص الشريعة الإسلامية على تضامن المسلمين وتكافلهم وتعاونهم؛ حتى يشتد البناء الإسلامي. العبادة تشمل كل عمل صالح. العبادة: اسم جامع لكل ما يحبه ويرضاه الله من الأعمال الصالحة الظاهرة والباطنة.
