The two sons of al-‘Ās are believers: ‘Amr and Hishām

عن أبي هريرة قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : «ابْنَا العاصِ مؤمنان: عمروٌ وهشامٌ».

Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: ''The two sons of al-‘Ās are believers: ‘Amr and Hishām.''

صحيح - ( رواه أحمد ). Sahih/Authentic. [Ahmad]

يشهد النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم في هذا الحديث لعمرو بن العاص ولأخيه هشام بن العاص بالإيمان، فرضي الله عنهما وأرضاهما، وفي ضمنه رد على من يطعن في الصحابة رضي الله عنهم .
The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) testifies that ‘Amr ibn al-‘Ās and his brother Hishām ibn al-‘Ās are believers. May Allah be pleased with both of them. This Hadīth indirectly refutes the claim of those who disparage the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them).

في الحديث فضيلة ظاهرة لعمرو بن العاص وأخيه هشام. وفيه رد على الشيعة الطاعنين في الصحابة.
