The angels continue to shade him with their wings

عن جابر بن عبد الله رضي الله عنهما قال : جِيءَ بأبي إلى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قد مُثِّل به، فوُضِع بين يديه؛ فذهبت أكشف عن وجهه فنهاني قومي، فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم : «ما زالت الملائكة تظله بأجنحتها».

Jābir ibn ‘Abdullāh (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: My father's mutilated body was brought to the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) and placed in front of him. I went to uncover his face but my people stopped me. The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The angels continue to shade him with their wings."

جيء بوالد جابر وهو عبد الله بن عمرو بن حرام الأنصاري رضي الله عنه إلى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ، وذلك يوم أحد وقد مثل الكفار بقتلى المسلمين، بتشويه أجسامهم، فوضع بين يديه فأراد جابر أن يكشف عن وجهه متوجعاً له مما مثل به الكفار فنهاه قومه عن ذلك فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم : "ما زالت الملائكة تظله بأجنحتها" تشريفاً له وتكريماً.
‘Abdullāh ibn ‘Amr ibn Harām al-Ansāri, the father of Jābir (may Allah be pleased with him), was brought to the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) on the day of the battle of Uhud. On that day, the disbelievers mutilated the bodies of the Muslims killed in that battle. When ‘Abdullāh's body was placed in front of the Prophet, Jābir wanted to uncover his face in agony for what the disbelievers had done with his body. However, his people stopped him from that and the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: The angels are still shading him with their wings, as an honor and tribute to him.

بيان فضل عبد الله بن عمرو بن حرام والد جابر -رضي الله عنهما-. أنَّ الله اختار لنبيه صلى الله عليه وسلم أفضل الخَلْق. للشهيد مكانة خاصة عند الله. لا يشترط لكل أحد من أهل الميت النظر إليه خاصة إذا خشي عليه. أنَّ من أساليب الدعوة الترغيب.
