1266 نهى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أن يتزعفر الرجل
The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the use of saffron by men

عن أنس بن مالك رضي الله عنه قال: نهى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أن يَتَزَعْفَرَ الرجلُ.

Anas ibn Mālik (may Allah be pleased with him) reported directly that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the use of saffron by men.

صحيح - ( متفق عليه ). Sahih/Authentic. [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]

نهى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أن يصبغ الرجل جسده أو ثيابه بالزعفران، وكان ذلك من طيب النساء، فنهي الرجال عن ذلك منعًا من التشبه.
The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) forbade men to dye their bodies or clothes with saffron, because saffron was a perfume of the women, So, men were forbidden to use it; to prevent resemblance between both genders.

النهي عن لبس الثياب المزعفرة. النهي خاص بالرجال؛ لأنَّ الثياب المصبوغة بذلك مما يتزين به النساء. تحريم تشبه الرجال بالنساء في اللباس.
