Whoever performs the Fajr prayer will be under the protection of Allah

عن جندب بن سفيان البجلي رضي الله عنه عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أنه قال: «مَنْ صلَّى الصبحَ فهو في ذِمَّةِ اللهِ، فانظُرْ يا ابنَ آدمَ، لا يَطْلُبَنَّكَ اللهُ مِنْ ذِمَّتِهِ بِشَيء».

Jundub ibn Sufyān al-Bajali (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever performs the Fajr prayer will be under the protection of Allah. O son of Adam, beware lest Allah should call you to account for violating His protection.”

صحيح - ( رواه مسلم بلفظ: «من صلى الصبح فهو في ذمة الله، فلا يطلبنكم الله من ذمته بشيء فيدركه فيكبه في نار جهنم»، وهذا لفظ أحمد ). Sahih/Authentic. [Ahmad]

يبين هذا الحديث فضل صلاة الصبح وأن مصليها في ذمة اللّه، أي: في كلاءته وحفظه، وفي عهده وأمانته، وفي رواية لأبي نعيم في مستخرجه (2/ 252) ح1467: (في جماعة)، ثم حذَّر الإنسان من التعرض لمن هو كذلك، فخاطبه منبِّهًا محذرًا: فلا يحاسبنك الله بسبب تعرضك بأذى لمن هو في ذمة الله، فإن ذلك سبب لعقوبة الله تعالى ، ودخول النار والعياذ بالله. أو أن معنى قوله: "لا يطلبنك اللّه من ذمته بشيء"، يعني: لا تفرطوا في صلاة الفجر، أولا تعملوا عملاً سيئاً، فيطالبكم الله تعالى بما عهد به إليكم، وهذا دليل على أن صلاة الفجر كالمفتاح لصلاة النهار، بل لعمل النهار كله، وأنها كالمعاهدة مع الله بأن يقوم العبد بطاعة ربه عز وجل ممتثلاً لأمره مجتنبًا لنهيه.
This Hadīth shows the virtue of the Fajr prayer, and that by performing it one becomes under Allah's protection. Another narration by Abu Nu‘aym adds: "in congregation." Then he warned against harming those under Allah's protection, saying: Do not incur the punishment of Allah by harming those whom Allah has protected, for doing so leads to Allah's punishment and to entering Hellfire. It could also be a warning against neglecting the Fajr prayer or doing a wrong deed that incurs Allah's questioning about the non-implementation of His commandments. This indicates that the Fajr prayer is like the key to the rest of the daily prayers, and perhaps to all the deeds of the day that follow it. It is like a covenant with Allah wherein one is committed to obeying Allah's commandments and avoiding His prohibitions.

أهمية صلاة الصبح وفضيلتها. فضل من داوم على صلاة الصبح في الجماعة. التحذير الشديد من التعرض بسوء لمن صلى الصبح المستلزمة لصلاة بقية الفرائض الخمس. أن صلاة الفجر كالمفتاح لصلاة النهار، بل لعمل النهار كله وأنها كالمعاهدة مع الله بأن يقوم العبد بطاعة ربه -عز وجل- ممتثلا لأمره مجتنبا لنهيه. الحفاظ على حدود الله -تعالى- وحرماته سبب في حفظ الله للعبد. من أساليب الدعوة إلى الله -تعالى- الترغيب والترهيب والنهي المؤكد بالتعليل.
