1112 كنا إذا نَزَلْنا مَنْزِلًا، لا نُسَبِّحَ حتى نَحُلَّ الرِّحال
Whenever we stopped somewhere (during a journey) for rest, we would not offer (voluntary) prayer until we have unloaded the luggage from the mounts' backs

عن أنس رضي الله عنه قال: كنا إذا نَزَلْنا مَنْزِلًا، لا نُسَبِّحَ حتى نَحُلَّ الرِّحال.

Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: Whenever we stopped somewhere (during a journey) for rest, we would not offer (voluntary) prayer until we have unloaded the luggage from the mounts' backs.

صحيح - ( رواه أبو داود ). Sahih/Authentic. [Abu Dawood]

معنى الحديث: أنَّا مع حِرْصنا على الصلاة فإنَّا لا نُقَدِّمها على وضع الأمتعة عن ظهور الدَّوَابِّ؛ لإراحتها.
Meaning of the Hadīth: Despite our eagerness to perform the prayer, we would not pray until after we have unloaded our luggage from the backs of the camels to let them rest.

استحباب صلاة النافلة في السفر. حرص الصحابة -رضي الله عنهم- على تنفيذ وصية رسول الله -صلى الله عليه وسلم- في الرفق بالحيوان. يستحب ترك السنن الرواتب في السفر إذا قصر الصلاة، دون النوافل الأخرى، تخفيفا عليه؛ لقول ابن عمر -رضي الله عنه-: (لو كنت مسبحا لأتممت صلاتي) رواه مسلم.
