HadeethTextAr: عن عبد الله بن مسعود رضي الله عنه مرفوعًا: «ليس مِنَّا من ضرب الْخُدُودَ، وشَقَّ الْجُيُوبَ، ودعا بِدَعْوَى الجاهلية». ‘Abdullāh ibn Mas‘ūd (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "He is not one of us he who slaps his cheeks, tears open his clothes, and wails in the manner of the days of ignorance."
