عن عبد الله بن عمر رضي الله عنهما عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: «لا ينظر الله إلى من جَرَّ ثوبه خُيَلَاءَ». ‘Abdullāh ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah does not look at the person who drags his clothes out of self-conceit."
