عن عبد الله بن عمرو بن العاص رضي الله عنهما مرفوعاً: "كُلُوا، وَاشْرَبُوا، وَتَصَدَّقُوا، وَالْبَسُوا، غَيْرَ مَخِيلَة، وَلَا سَرَف". ‘Abdullāh ibn ‘Amr ibn al-‘Ās (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Eat, drink, give charity, and wear clothes without extravagance or pride."
