عن حُذَيْفَةَ بْنِ الْيَمَانِ رضي الله عنهما مرفوعاً: «لا تلْبَسُوا الحرير ولا الديباج، ولا تشربوا في آنية الذهب والفضة ولا تأكلوا في صِحَافِهِمَا؛ فإنَّهَا لهم في الدنيا ولكم في الآخرة». Hudhayfah ibn al-Yamān (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not wear silk or brocade, and do not drink from gold or silver vessels, nor eat in platters made therefrom, for they are for them in this world and for you in the Hereafter."
