عن عَائِشَةَ رضي الله عنها قالت: ((كُنْتُ أَغْتَسِلُ أَنَا ورسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم مِن إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ، كِلاَنَا جُنُب، وكان يَأْمُرُنِي فَأَتَّزِرُ، فَيُبَاشِرُنِي وأنا حَائِض، وكان يُخْرِج رَأسَه إِلَيَّ، وهُو مُعْتَكِفٌ، فَأَغْسِلُهُ وأنا حَائِض)). ‘Ā'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) reported: The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) and I used to take a ritual bath from one pot when we were in a state of major impurity. During my menses, he would tell me to put on a skirt and he would fondle me. While in I‘tikāf, he would lean his head out to me and I would wash it while I was menstruating.
