عن عائشة رضي الله عنها: «أَنَّ رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم سُئِل عن الْبِتْعِ؟ فقال: كل شَرَابٍ أَسْكَر فهو حَرَامٌ». ‘Ā’ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) reported that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about mead, and he said: "Every drink that intoxicates is unlawful."
