عن أنس بن مالك رضي الله عنه وعن عثمان بن أبي سليمان رضي الله عنه «أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم بعث خالد بن الوليد إلى أُكَيْدِرِ دُومَةَ؛ فأُخِذ فأتوه به، فَحَقَنَ له دَمَهُ وصَالَحَه على الجِزْيَة». Anas ibn Mālik and ‘Uthmān ibn Abu Sulaymān (may Allah be pleased with both of them) reported: The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) sent Khālid ibn al-Walīd to Ukaydir of Dūmah. He (Ukaydir) was seized and brought to the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) who spared his life and made a peace treaty with him on condition that they should pay Jizyah.
