عن عائِشَة رضي الله عنها مرفوعاً: «لا صلاة بِحَضرَة طَعَام، وَلا وهو يُدَافِعُه الأَخبَثَان». ‘Ā'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) reported that the Prophet (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Prayer should not be offered when food is ready, nor when one is in dire need of answering the call of nature."
