عن علي بن أبي طالب رضي الله عنه قال: «أَمَرَنِي رَسُول اللَّهِ -صلَّى الله عليه وسلَّم- أَن أَقُومَ عَلَى بُدْنِهِ، وَأَن أَتَصَدَّقَ بِلَحمِهَا وَجُلُودِهَا وَأَجِلَّتِهَا، وَأَن لا أُعْطِيَ الجَزَّارَ مِنهَا شَيْئًا». ‘Ali ibn Abi Tālib (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) put me in charge of slaughtering his camels (which he wanted to sacrifice); and to give in charity their meat, skins, and saddle cloths; and not to give any of them to the butcher.
