عن عبد الله بن مسعود رضي الله عنه مرفوعاً: «لا تَتخِذوا الضَّيْعَةَ فترغَبُوا في الدنيا». ‘Abdullāh ibn Mas‘ūd (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not crave for property lest you should become consumed with desire for worldly life."
