عن أبي مسعود البدري رضي الله عنه مرفوعاً: «إذا أَنْفَقَ الرجلُ على أهله نَفَقَةً يَحْتَسِبُهَا فهي له صَدَقَةٌ». Abu Mas‘ūd al-Badri (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If a man spends something on his family, seeking reward from Allah for it, it shall be recorded for him as charity."
