عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : «عليك السمع والطاعة في عُسْرِكَ ويُسرك، ومَنْشَطِكَ ومَكْرَهِكَ، وأثَرَة ٍعليك». Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It is obligatory upon you to listen and obey (the ruler) in times of your ease and of your difficulty, whether you feel energetically stimulated or you feel compelled, and even when someone else is given undue preference over you."
