عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه مرفوعاً: «قال الله: كذَّبني ابنُ آدم ولم يكن له ذلك، وشتمني ولم يكن له ذلك، فأمَّا تكذيبُه إيَّايَ فقوله: لن يعيدَني، كما بدأني، وليس أولُ الخلق بأهونَ عليَّ من إعادتِه، وأما شتمُه إيَّايَ فقوله: اتَّخذَ اللهُ ولدًا، وأنا الأحدُ الصمد، لم ألِدْ ولم أولَد، ولم يكن لي كُفْؤًا أحدٌ». Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said that Allah said: "The son of Adam tells a lie against Me and he has no right to do so; and he insults Me and has no right to do so. His lying against Me is his saying that I will not resurrect him as I created him for the first time. In fact, the first creation was not easier for Me than resurrecting him again (they are both easy for Me). His insult to Me is his saying that Allah has begotten a son, while I am The One, The Eternal Refuge, Who begets not nor was He begotten, and there is none like unto Me."
