عن عثمان بن عفان رضي الله عنه عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: «من توضَّأ فَأَحْسَن الوُضُوءَ، خَرَجَتْ خَطَايَاهُ مِنْ جَسَدِهِ حَتَّى تَخْرُج مِنْ تَحْتِ أَظْفَارِه». ‘Uthmān ibn ‘Affān (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "He who performs ablution perfectly, his sins will leave his body, even coming out from under his nails.”
