عن الأسود بن يزيد، قال: سُئِلَتْ عائشةُ رضي الله عنها ما كانَ النبيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَصْنَعُ في بَيتِهِ؟، قالَتْ: كانَ يَكونُ في مِهنَةِ أهلِهِ -يَعني: خِدمَة أهلِهِ- فإذا حَضَرَتِ الصلاةُ، خَرَجَ إلى الصلاةِ. Al-Aswad ibn Yazīd reported that ‘Ā’ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) was asked about what the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) used to do at his home. She said: "He used to serve his family. But when the time for prayer came, he would go out to the prayer."
