عن أنس رضي الله عنه قال: كَانَ غُلاَمٌ يَهُودِيٌّ يَخْدُمُ النَّبيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَمَرِضَ، فَأتَاهُ النَّبيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَعُودُهُ، فَقَعَدَ عِنْدَ رَأسِهِ، فَقَالَ لَه: «أسْلِمْ» فَنَظَرَ إِلَى أبِيهِ وَهُوَ عِنْدَهُ؟، فَقَالَ: أَطِعْ أَبَا القَاسِمِ، فَأسْلَمَ، فَخَرَجَ النَّبيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَهُوَ يَقُول: «الحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذِي أنْقَذَهُ منَ النَّارِ». Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: A Jewish boy used to serve the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) and he fell sick. So the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) came to visit him. He sat by his head and said to him: "Embrace Islam." The boy looked at his father who was with him and who then said: "Obey Abu al-Qāsim." So, he embraced Islam. The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) came out saying: "All praise is due to Allah who saved him from the Fire."
