HadeethTextAr: عن عبدالله بن عباس رضي الله عنهما قال: «كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أَجْوَدَ الناسِ، وكان أَجْوَدَ ما يكونُ في رمضانَ حِينَ يَلْقاهُ جبريلُ، وكان يَلْقاهُ في كلِّ ليلة مِن رمضانَ فَيُدارِسُه القرآن، فَلَرسولُ الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أجْوَدُ بالخير من الريح المُرسَلة». ‘Abdullāh ibn ‘Abbās (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) was the most generous of people, and he used to be more generous than ever in Ramadan, when Jibrīl would meet him. He used to meet him every night during Ramadan to revise the Qur'an with him. Indeed, the Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) was more generous than the fast wind.
