عن حفصة بنت عمر بن الخطاب رضي الله عنهما عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: "من أتَى عرَّافًا فسأله عن شيء، فصدَّقه لم تُقْبَلْ له صلاةٌ أربعينَ يومًا". Hafsah bint ‘Umar ibn al-Khattāb (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever goes to a soothsayer, asks him about something and believes him, his prayers will not be accepted for forty days."
