عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: «الحَلِفُ مَنْفَقَة للسلعة، مَمْحَقَة للكسب». Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Taking an oath may sell a commodity but it takes (the blessing) away from the earnings."
