I witnessed ‘Amr ibn Abi Hasan asking ‘Abdullāh ibn Zayd about the Prophet's ablution. So, he ordered for a small bucket of water to be brought, and performed ablution like that performed by the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him). He poured water from the bucket over his hands and washed his hands thrice
